How much is a session?
I strive to charge one single price no matter the session. The only exclusion to that statement is for travel and studio fees.
For more info please check out the investment section.
How many photos?
My general rule is 80-100 photos for an hour session. And honestly that is A LOT. I have found that many times my favorite photos are not the clients favorite so I edit all usable photos and present them in the gallery. Most photographers do not provide that many and this is by no way a bash on them. I just simply can not bring myself to not provide all usable photos I've taken.
Where do we go?
I have several places I love to shoot. I will NEVER tell you where we are doing your session. I WILL however ask you if you have any locations in mind and if you don't I will present several options to you.
I am always open to new places.
Is editing extra?
Absolutely not, as I stated I charge one price. This includes
-a gallery
-editing of photos
-session time
-free consult
What should I wear?
My rule of thumb is to stay away from bold prints and colors.
-If you are someone with a pale skin tone(like myself) bright colors exposed to sunlight can reflect directly to your face and that lovely lime green shirt you are wearing will give you a green tone on your face.
-Bold prints are not advised because it draws the attention to your clothing instead of your face
-Wear something comfortable, if you can't breathe or walk in it then don't wear it
"BLANK" doesn't like getting their photos taken
Every single session you will find me making stupid jokes, talking about random topics, telling funny stories, making you say weird phrases.....
I do this to not only help you to relax but to get some natural smiles out of you. HOWEVER there are people who will not ever enjoy photos and will be grumpy the entire time. If that is the case (a husband for example) I will take the necessary photos with that person but the rest of the session will be about those who actually want to participate.
Will you pose us?
Yes and no! I will do several posed photos but I also do spend time giving cues allowing for more natural candid photos.
What is turnaround time?
This is not a simple question but generally you are looking at 1 week per hour session. The exception to this is Fall. Fall is the busiest season I will be doing multiple sessions every weekend during this time if turn around will be longer than one week I always try to announce or let you know at the time of your session.
